Chat is there so you can ask. Progress is a submitted artifact and a checked result. Talking more does not earn the mission.

    Open the brief

    Maya tells you what the store needs, what to turn in, and what “done” has to include.

  2. 02

    Work with incomplete instructions

    The export is messy. Leo can explain a source issue that has already been approved. He cannot invent a number that is not in the file.

    Submit the work

    A cleaned CSV, a short change log, later a set of KPIs and a memo. The checks read what you uploaded.

  4. 04

    Revise from the evidence

    If something fails, the review points at the row, field, or sentence. You fix that and submit again. Earlier attempts stay on the record.

  • 01

    A company that is fictional on purpose

    NovaCart is an online store. The customers, the staff, and the sales file are simulated. The task is still a task: messy data, a decision, and a change of plan.

  • 02

    Coworkers with different facts

    Maya, Leo, and Sam are labeled AI. Each one can use only the notes released for that role. If something has not been released, they say it is unavailable.

  • 03

    A score that follows the file

    Numbers are checked in code. Writing is reviewed against a rubric, with a quote from what you submitted. A fluent memo with the wrong figures does not pass.

First track

Junior data analyst, NovaCart.

Three connected missions, about 30–45 minutes each. You start with a sales export and end with a campaign recommendation after the budget changes.

    Clean the sales export

    Download the source CSV. Turn in a cleaned file and a short change log. After you have read the brief, Leo can share an approved note about a known source issue.

  2. 02

    Explain sales performance

    Use the official clean dataset, not a file that still has your earlier mistakes. Submit the KPI values and a short explanation. Sam then asks for a channel comparison.

  3. 03

    Recommend a campaign

    Allocate a budget, name the tradeoffs, and write the memo. After you save a first plan, the budget gets smaller and you revise.

Gives the assignment, clarifies what matters first, and chooses approved practice when you miss something. She does not reveal the answer key or offer you a job.

Leo

Operations

Explains the data dictionary and the operational constraints. He can describe a released source issue. He does not invent values or quietly change the dataset.

Sam

Stakeholder

Asks for a decision and brings an approved change, such as a smaller budget. Sam does not read hidden tests or another learner’s work.

A fit for the pilot

  • Students, graduates, and career switchers who want practice before a first analyst role.
  • People who already know their way around a basic spreadsheet.
  • English, for now. The desk is a desktop. A phone is fine for reading the brief and the review.

Outside this version

  • No real employer, no hiring score, and no certificate that claims you are qualified.
  • No live customer data. The store is synthetic. Don’t upload a real company’s files.
  • The pilot is invite-only and free while it is open. Seats are limited on purpose.

Is NovaCart a real company?

No. NovaCart, its customers, and Maya, Leo, and Sam are fictional. Hyna is a place to practice the work, and the product says so inside the simulation as well as here.

What do I actually turn in?

On the first track: a cleaned CSV and a change log, then KPI values with a written explanation, then a budget recommendation and a memo. The pilot does not ask you to upload PDFs, spreadsheets, or code.

Does chatting raise my score?

No. Coworkers can clarify released facts and point you at the task. Credit depends on the artifact and the checks. Hints are tracked so the summary can tell assisted practice from independent work.

How does a review work?

Code checks the objective parts, such as duplicate orders and budget arithmetic. A separate review judges reasoning and clarity against a fixed rubric and has to cite your submission. A passing mission needs both the numbers and the critical checks.

Can I do the track on my phone?

You can read, message, and review feedback on a phone. Editing the CSV is built for a desktop. The product will say that, rather than pretending a phone is the right desk.

What does the pilot cost?

The closed pilot is free and invite-only. Paid access is a later question, after the first track has been used. Writing to hello@hyna.io asks for a seat. It does not buy one.

Will finishing get me hired?

No. Completion is not a job offer, an accredited qualification, or a promise that someone will hire you. It is a record of simulated work and the feedback on it.
